Rob Akey's paintings
capture how the senses respond to their surroundings, the vastness and dramatic scenery of
the northern Rocky Mountains. His landscapes emote the power of nature, giving the viewer
sensations of how it feels, smells and sounds, along with how the light constantly changes
our ability to see the land in a different way.
